When is it the time to stop using natural weight loss methods and start using unnatural ones? This is a question primarily asked by people suffering from obesity, and one that requires a great deal of thought prior.
Obesity in adults is something that can do damage to more than just your self-esteem. As a result of being considerably overweight, much more strain is placed on your joints, particularly at the knee.
Generally, your breathing becomes shallower, having to work harder to draw in the large amounts of oxygen required for simple tasks such as walking across the road or climbing a flight of stairs.
In addition, being obese puts you at an increased risk of diseases such as arthritis, diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease, to name a few. If you are female, the risk increases yet again with infertility, breast cancer, and endometrium cancer being just a few of the diseases that you might suffer from as a result of being overweight.
Obese people tend to have great difficulty sticking to natural weight loss methods as, for the first few weeks ‘ or even months ‘ any weight lost tends not to make a visible difference to their appearance.
Concerning appearance, which is the least important health-wise but the most important to the ego, most overweight people have great difficulty locating clothes that fit well, without having to go to a tailor. It becomes tiresome to constantly try clothes on that do not fit well or are tight, and soul-destroying.
Some of the different types of diets that over weight people have been recommended ‘ which are those aimed specifically at losing weight very quickly ‘ include ones used on obese patients awaiting surgery.
Such diets consist of mostly of water and vegetables, so reduce the calorie intake significantly without risking dehydration. Other natural weightloss methods include concentrated green tea drops, food combining, and the blood group diet, all of which rely on speeding up your metabolism.
Ultimately, in order to encourage natural weight loss, you need a faster metabolism. To do this, you need to eat little and often, lots of fruit and vegetables, and drink plenty of water.
Should you no longer believe that natural weight loss methods are worthwhile, then the alternative, of unnatural weightloss methods, can be considered. Some of these include diet pills to suppress hunger, the insertion of a gastric balloon, having your stomach stapled, and liposuction, amongst others.
Whilst these may seem like a way to solve the problem of obesity, they do not guarantee you will enjoy a consistent weight loss, unless your eating habits change permanently.
Unfortunately, most people suffering from obesity do not follow natural weightloss methods because they find them too difficult. It is far easier to try to ignore the problem, or eat something sweet or high in fat, and far more expensive to switch entirely to the healthy option of regular fresh fruit and salad daily.
If you feel your weight is becoming a problem and you no longer have control over how much or what you eat, then it is advisable to see a nutritionist or a doctor. Sometimes, excessive eating can be due to an underlying problem and other times, it can simply be from habit.
Invariably, it is important to ascertain the reason behind the obesity before you embark upon any natural weight – loss programs. -

Is there any way to lose weight forever? Are there any natural weight loss methods that work? Can I still eat good food while losing weight? I know exercise is important but, do I have to exercise for hrs together to lose weight?
These are such familiar questions with an overweight person. Weight loss is such a big issue today and there are so many controversies surrounding it, it’s really difficult to understand what is right for you and what is not. In this article, we will tackle the questions above, one by one.
Is there any way to lose weight forever?
Yes there is a way to lose weight forever. It’s not rocket science; you have to observe what you eat (diet) and also what you do after that (exercise). But there is a way to do it. What works on your friend may not work on you, because you are different. Every person is unique. And accordingly, the weight loss method has to be customized for every one.
Are there any natural weight loss diets that work?
Yes there are. You should always avoid any kind of pills, shakes, supplements etc. We have such good natural food available, which can help you in reducing weight. On the other hand there is food which helps in gaining weight. You should make correct choices and avoid the wrong ones.
Can I still eat good food, while losing weight?
This is one question which bothers almost all the dieters. Yes, it is possible to eat good food, while losing weight. The only thing is you must learn to cook, or learn the basic cooking, to fix your self a healthy sandwich or a delicious salad.
I know exercise is important, but do I have to exercise for long hrs?
Exercise is important, yes! But you do not need to over do it. One of the leading fitness experts, who are a friend of mine, once told me something funny, he said, he had a man telling him he is working out 2 hrs in gym doing cardio, crunches and lifts, and still no results! The reason, he was over doing it. There is no need to over do. Just 45 minutes thrice a week is good enough. But you must know what exercises to do!Tagged as: Basic Cooking, Correct Choices, Crunches, Delicious Salad, Losing Weight, Weight Loss Diets -

I’m trying to make sure I get all the nutrition I need and keep my energy levels up whilst losing weight. I dont eat meat but i eat fish, i find too many carbs/big meals make me lathargic so i’m trying to balance protein and carbs but i’m unsure what a serving is…30G dry weight rice/pasta? I’d prefer not to count calories and grams if i can help it as I get obsessed and it makes me ill! I’ve lost 3 and a half stone before but put some back on as i had a bereavement and comfort ate. I’ve also found that if I add a little fat to my food I feel more satisfied and less likely to reach for junk so i’m hoping to get enough good fat in there too!7.30am – 40g Museli and 200ml skimmed or soya milk
1 boiled egg
1 medium bannana
10.30am – fruit and 1tbsp nuts in honey and l.f natural yog
1pm – tuna sushi – 6 pieces home made and salad with a few olives OR 2 salad wraps OR tuna pasta salad 1tsp light mayo2-3pm gym: alt days cardio/weight
3.30ish bannanabetween 6-7pm dinner: Tuna or cod steak and veg OR stuffed peppers with a little cheese OR home made veg curry without oil OR roast veg without oil OR quorn sausages with jacket potato and veg OR tina jacet potato and salad etc.
9PM handful of berries and 200ml low fat natural yog.
I drink 2lts of water a day and a some herbal teas, rarely drink coffee. I dont really like to eat bread or too much pasta as it affects my IBS.
is it ok to have protein and carbs together?
would you divide your plate into 1/3 protein, 1/3 carb and 1/3 veg at every meal?I’m trying to use the *handful* idea. 1 handful or whatever is a portion, so carbs, protein as big as ur fist each and 2 fistfuls of veg = 1 meal.
I’m also trying to do more activity once my fitness gets a little better.
does this programme sound ok – am i eating too much or too little? am i getting all the nutrition i need?
Thanks for any advice and constructive comments!!!
sorry, it took a while to type the rest! lol! here you have a complete weeks programme!!!
