• Weight issues.Please help?

    !st off what’s an easy fun way to lose weight-like what type of exercises? What do I keep telling myself and do to stay motivated?
    It just seems so impossible and hopeless for me to lose weight because it’s the motivation I lack-yet once I get into something I try to stick with it. I’m looking at losing about 40-50 pounds!!!!!!!!!! Any advice on weightloss would be helpful especially if you are a professional trainer or nutritionist! Thanx in advance!

    P.S. I don’t do diet pills or other edible weight reducers!It’s just not natural enough for me!

  1. um im not a proffessional and i dont reccomend u asking this question on here. u should get a membership at a gym with a personal trainer and go to a dietician to find out what to eat and stuff.

  2. I have the same problem. Try doing it with a friend for awhile. Get yourself an mp3 player to go running with (it will wear out quickly, but it will be worth it). Distractions really help and make it fun. Find out what types of exercises interest you and try sticking to those. This may grab your interest into one of them. Also, if you hate, say, running around a track, try running cross-country as it is SO much better!! I know that from experience. Also, try down-sizing your food portions a little bit. Eat healthier. Even making that change from McDonald’s to Subways or Quizno’s really does help. And a membership to a gym also helps for awhile, but as long as you keep exercising on your own, that’ll be fine.

  3. Ride a bike. It is more fun and lower impact than walking. So you can’t pedal uphill? That’s okay. You’re doing the same amount of work walking your bike up as pedaling your bike uphill (the weight of yourself and the bike is the same either way). You will work harder to climb over a hill than you’ll ever push your self in a gym on a treadmill or an elliptical. Riding a bike is still getting around with your own 2 feet as it was intended. It is not like you have to ride a bike every day to see results. One or 2 good rides a week is enough, your body will burn fat everyday. You do have to ride hard enough to get winded though. It takes lots of oxygen to burn fat.

    Don’t diet. Eat sensibly, but exercise like your life depends on it.

    If you exercise right, your metabolism will become normal.

  5. I used to be in the same situation. I wanted to lose the weight, but just couldn’t get motivated, then I went to LA Weight Loss. I absolutely love it. It is a very sensible diet plan that you can stay on for life. I go in 3 times a week, I know it sounds like a lot, but it really helps. Each time I go in I meet with a counselor one on one and they give me great advise and encouragement.
    As far as exercise, I had to find something that I loved to do and then turn it into exercise. I don’t like to run, walk, or bike by myself for exercise. I just recently joined the YMCA. They have wonderful classes that are free to members. I went from not exercising at all to exercising 3 days a week. I take a water aerobics class and absolutely love it. The time goes by really quick because I exercise with a group of people and not just by myself. Hope this helps and best of luck.

  6. changes your diet eat smaller amount cut out the fat, do not skimp on flavor ,use olive oil and Pam where you would use oil, have a small salad ,fish ,chicken never fry If you like the change it will stick lay off the chips and fast food more vegetables raw with ranch or cooked with spice I love my spice, this way I eat what I want if it is fating very small amounts works for me.. Work out start will just a general one and make a friend the buddy system then if you do not go you will let down another friend guilt work every time. But I read all my labels

  7. I personally like to get those big bouncy balls and use those. They are actually really good for your stomache and you have a lot of fun using them. :] best wishes
